In New York there are many free Wifi Hotspots. These points can be found in subway stations, parks, restaurants, museums, attractions, tour buses and many public places.

However, since free wifi may come with very slow speeds, there is an option to buy a Sim Card with a duration of about a month, at a fairly low price.

Because there are so many articles out there, many of which are very old and may give you the wrong information, during our visit in August 2022 we bought a $70 SIM card from the airport with unlimited international calls and 12GB Internet for a month. The same card may cost less within the city.
